Kids at the Red Door strives to engage kids with Christ and equip the family to disciple their children.
Reaching out to kids in fun, interesting, and engaging ways is a priority for us, and we offer Church at the Red Door Kids at our regular service time. If kids aren't engaged it doesn't matter what we teach them, because they are not going to care, and it's not going to stick. In light of that, we quite intentionally utilize technology, incorporate recent teaching/learning innovations, and employ interactive ways of learning and applying Biblical principles.
Inversely, if we have engaging material that has nothing to with Jesus, then you might as well take your child to the movies, or the park, or drop them off with the grandparents instead of bringing them to Kids at the Red Door on Sunday mornings. That is why what we do in our children's classes is founded on the Gospel and centered around the Scriptures. We are not merely interested in providing childcare. We are dedicated to serving both you and your children by offering children's ministry.
We look to expand our children's ministry offerings in the future. To be part of that expansion click here and volunteer to get involved in Kids at the Red Door. We need volunteers in class with kids and also behind the scenes. If you love the idea of helping kids know Jesus but don't love the idea of being in a class full of them, don't let that stop you from becoming an integral behind-the-scenes piece of Kids at the Red Door.
Childcare is available for the first service; Church at the Red Door Kids is offered for children through fifth grade at the second service. Sixth grade and older children are encouraged to attend service with their parents.
